Lisa Teer, LCSW, joined the Little Rock Community Mental Health Center team in 2013. During her time in college, Lisa said she knew that a profession helping others was her calling.

Lisa graduated with her MSW from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2013. She began her role at LRCMHC as the primary treatment plan reviewer for the Medicaid population and was later appointed as Director of Crisis and Outreach Services. She currently oversees all emergency services, judicial orders, and forensic restorations.

Lisa has two children, Garrett and Jessica, and a grandson named Brayden. She lives in North Little Rock, Arkansas. When asked why she joined the LRCMHC team, Lisa said, “The center offers so much for clients in need, and the services they provide are a critical part of this community. I am proud to be part of an organization that touches so many lives. It’s a great feeling to watch clients lives come back together through incremental change and empowerment.”

Lisa’s team members describe her as an individual with boundless energy, a strong work ethic, and a true passion for the behavioral health field. “With the all of the changes to the mental health system in the past few months, Lisa has worked tirelessly to improve service delivery to the clients she serves and to the center as a whole. She is the ultimate team player and we are proud to have her as part of the Little Rock Community Mental Health Center team,” stated Dr. Brad Holloway, Clinical Director at Little Rock Community Mental Health Center.
