Spotlight on Social Work: Beth Petz, LCSWPosted on 3/28/2018
Beth Petz joined Little Rock Community Mental Health Center as a contractor in November of 2018. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock social work program. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
“I’m passionate about working with clients suffering from serious mental illness,” stated Beth. “I love to celebrate with clients when they achieve the goals we’ve laid out in their treatment plan.”
Beth has had a diverse career working in mental health, adoption, and childcare. Formerly, Beth worked for the Arkansas State Hospital and George Jackson Mental Health Center, which is now a part of Mid-South Health Systems. In addition to her work with LRCMHC, she works in private practice and with St. Francis House.
