Amanda Woolems started at LRCMHC as an MSW Intern/Mental Health Paraprofessional in August of 2017. Amanda graduated in 2008 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with her Bachelors in Psychology. She currently has her Mental Health Paraprofessional Certificate, and she will graduate with her Masters of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in May of 2018.
“It's so amazing to see someone overcome barriers and succeed in their goals,” said Amanda about her experience working with clients. “Clients at LRCMHC do this every day and I am so glad to have the opportunity to get to know them and learn from them.”
In Amanda’s free time, she enjoys singing karaoke, playing video games, and spending time with her daughter. She is also a Harry Potter enthusiast, and she also enjoys learning about Norse mythology.
